Waunakee Veterinary Clinic

Message: We moved to this side of town a couple of years ago and decided to switch vets out of convenience. Little did we know we were going to get a huge upgrade from our previous care... Our dog has a rare condition (the vet at Waunakee Vet Clinic has only managed one other like him in 10 years). We thought we were taking good care of him based on what the previous vet had us doing, but we were not tracking his levels enough to know that the major diet change alone wasn't sufficient.. Long story short, within a year of diligent intervention by Dr. Sarah, our sweet old boy is back on track. This very easily could've shortened his life span had she not taken swift action and recommended supplements that helped his liver repair! Above and beyond this, she (and the other vets, tech, & staff) have always been SO unbelievably supportive and thorough with any questions we have (even if they're silly). They take such good care of our pup & honestly, us.. going so far as to even help us get rebates on expensive medicine without us even asking! We're so grateful for their support & kindness and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Message: We LOVE the daycare program and can't live without it! Plus boarding our pup has always been great and we love being able to see what she is up to with the video app they use. The staff is always so accommodating and great to work with.

Message: Our cats have been visiting Waunakee Vet for several years and I can say, now on my 2nd set of cats, the front desk, customer support, technicians, and vets are all friendly all the time, and are experts with my cats. I had to put my 2 previous cats down at 14 and 17. 5 years of age and they gave them excellent care and, at the end, showed me and both cats so much empathy. I'm certain my younger cats now are in excellent care.

Message: I have been coming to Waunakee Vet Clinic for almost 22 years. They have helped me through conditions such as: (including but not limited to) Cushing’s Disease, diabetes, cancer, behavioral issues, abdominal masses, and end of life care. They have treated all of my fur babies as if they were their own including our new pupp. The staff does the best job of educating (I was so nervous to give my Husky insulin injections) and making sure if you have any questions/concerns, they ware right there for you. This amazing care has been consistent over the past 22 years. A very special shout out to Ann, Dr. Stacy, Brittany S., Rael and Zach. These incredible people have been part of our family for many years. I just can’t say enough how compassionate & knowledgeable this clinic is. very blessed to have them in this community!

Message: I have taken all of pets to Waunakee Veterinary since we moved to Waunakee in 1994. The staff always great me with smiles and know our pets. They are very helpful and always return our calls. I know when we board or take our pets to Veterinary, they get the best care.

Message: I started taking my elderly cat to Waunakee Vet to get a second opinion on teeth cleaning and tooth extraction a few years ago. Last year I also needed another opinion when my cat was unable to use his hind legs and couldn’t walk for about a week. I was amazed when my cat bounced back, when I thought I was going to have to put him down. I’m so grateful I was able to get another 6 months to love and care for my cat. I’m forever grateful for all the love and kindness I received from Waunakee Vet. Sadly, I had to put my cat Felix down last month. I received a card in the mail from them and was touched with their gift in memory of Felix. Thank you for helping me and helping Felix when he needed it. I know he loved all of his visits to the clinic

Message: We love Waunakee Veterinary and our pups do too! Every person on the staff is kind and friendly and goes the extra mile to provide excellent care. The clinic is run efficiently and professionally, and the sense of teamwork among the staff is amazing. Always kind and patient and thorough. The vets and techs are the best in every way. I have complete trust in them. We have gotten to know them more than the average pet owner because one of our dogs has complicated health issues. We're very grateful for their care and support!

Message: We bring our 2 pups here and we just love all of the staff. They staff are all so very kind and I can feel how they all genuinely care for the welfare of our animals. Our pups haven’t always been so keen on going to prior vets, but our dogs are very relaxed around the staff and enjoy all the extra attention! We also like how straightforward about pricing and options they are and we LOVE that we can checkout in the examination room itself instead of having to do so at the front desk while others are checking in/out. It makes the process so much less stressful for all. We are big fans of this vet clinic!
